Each protector is approximately 35–45mm thick, quilted for added comfort, and made with care by Bedtime Comforts – cut, sewn, and packed in the UK. It features a fully elasticated fitted hem, making it incredibly easy to put on and remove when it’s time to wash.
While it’s designed to fit student-sized beds, it’s also a perfect choice for caravans, motorhomes, electric adjustable beds, cabin beds, bunk beds, sofa beds, and more.

Choosing the Right Depth:
A good rule of thumb is to add 2″ to your mattress depth, for an 8″ mattress, select 10″ depth, for an 11″ mattress, select 13″ depth, You can always opt for a deeper size for added flexibility.
All protectors are channel-stitched and sewn using a 5-thread overlocker, ensuring a secure, durable finish all around.
Fabric Quality: What You’re Buying
We only use high-grade 68 pick, 200 thread count fabric – the same standard used in high-end hotels. This creates a smoother, longer-lasting finish that resists fading and bobbling in the wash. Be cautious of cheaper 56-pick, 144 thread count protectors, which often wear out quickly.
Our 50/50 polycotton blend is breathable, crease-resistant, and built for long-term use.
Care Instructions:
- To get the most out of your mattress protector:
- Machine wash at 30°C for 5–10 minutes
- Let it cool before tumble drying
- Tumble dry on low heat to prevent shrinkage
- Remove while still slightly damp to fold without ironing
- Light ironing may be used for a crisp look
- Do not wash with dark colours
